Write On! online

“The difference between literature and journalism is that journalism is unreadable and literature is not read,” Oscar Wilde once claimed. Wrong, we said, and produced a 12 page magazine as well as this website about the literature festival Words by the Water in Keswick 2009.

Theatre by the Lake in Keswick, Cumbria is the centre for this exciting literature festival organised by Ways With Words. For 10 days (from 27 February - 8 March) writers and readers meet in the beautiful and inspiring landscape of the Lake District.

We interviewed a selection of authors and presenters who are appearing at the festival - and also - sprinkled the site with some of our own fellow-students’ creative writing!

Enjoy!
